Workshop presentation in Botswana
Recently DWS Director, Lorrin Windahl, was a guest speaker at a design workshop held at the University of Botswana. The workshop was hosted by the university and facilitated by Professors Ezio Manzini and Francois Jegou from Politecnico di Milano in Italy as part of the Creative Communities for Sustainable Lifestyles (CCSL) initiative. The CCSL workshop is part of the United Nations 10 Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production.
Lorrin's presentation focused on creating awareness about DWS amongst the Botswana design community and highlighting our unique design philosophies. It also showcased the design of our clay stove for rural Uganda.
